Equipment for tatting

 There is minimum equipment needed for tatting. I use high quality cotton yarn string, strenght as appropriate, shuttles, hook, scissors, and beads. For beginners are handy templates to ensure that the shapes are regular.Tatting lace can be well washed, is itself inherently rigid, so it is not needed to use starch, and if so, only weakly, some of the commonly offered starches. You can do tatting everywhere, for me it is perfect relaxation - sufficient light, warm, nice  music in the immediate vicinity of contented purring kitty.
